Welcome to the Putnam County YMCA! At the YMCA we build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities by enriching the lives of all people in spirit, mind, and body. Our programs, services and activities bring families closer together, help kids and teens find direction in life, and give adults a place to become healthier and more active.
For the first time in 43 years, the Y has unveiled a new brand strategy to increse understanding of the impact that YMCA's make in communities we serve, so that more people take advantage of the YMCA's unique capacity to foster lasting personal and social change. This new strategy even includes a new YMCA logo which you will see more of as we go through the process of updating the logo in our building. By simplifying how we describe our programs, we hope it will be apparent that everything we do is designed to nuture the potential of kids, promote healthy living and foster a sense of social responsibility.
At the Putnam County YMCA 2011 brings new programs and new excitement. We have several new programs for both youth and adults including overnights, aerobics classes and fitness challenges. So we invite you to explore all the Putnam County Family YMCA has to offer you, including programs and services for you and your family, opportunities for you to get involved and participate in special events and activities designed just for our members.
